Suffolk police have today identified the third woman found murdered near Ipswich. The murdered woman is 24-year-old Anneli Alderton from Colchester.
Police have named the third woman found dead in Suffolk.
The body of Anneli Alderton was discovered in woodland at Nacton, near Ipswich on Sunday.
Detectives said the 24-year-old from Colchester, who worked as a prostitute in Ipswich, had been asphyxiated and further tests were being carried out to see if she had been sexually assaulted.
The discovery follows the deaths of Gemma Adams and Tania Nicol, while police are also concerned for the safety of missing prostitutes Paula Clennell and Annette Nichols.
