Police are asking local people to think back after receiving a report of an assault that happened in Great Yarmouth Market Place back in September 2012.
The incident was only recently reported to officers but happened around 11am on Thursday, September 6 last year.
A woman in her fifties was slapped around the face, close to a tea stall on the Market Place.
There is a named suspect for the offence but police would like to hear from anyone who may remember seeing an altercation.
