POLICE are hunting a 'stocky' man who grabbed a nine-year-old girl's wrist in Gorleston.

The man is described as white, of stocky build, with short brown hair, and he was seen taking hold of the girl's wrist at Kings Road in Gorleston at around 5.30pm on Thursday, July 5.

Police were called just before 9pm on Thursday by a woman who reported her nine-year-old daughter had been playing when the male came up to her and grabbed her wrist.

The girl broke free and ran home.

Enquiries revealed a man had been seen about 45 minutes before the incident running in and out of an alleyway nearby.

He is described as white, in his 30s, of muscular build, with short blond hair wearing a light tan coloured top.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area between 4pm and 6pm who may have seen anything that may help enquiries.
