Police hunt for stone throwing youths

Police are hunting a gang of youths who have been throwing brick rubble and stones at cars.

At least six vehicles have been attacked on the A1101 at Emneth, between Wisbech and Downham Market, in the last week.

At least six vehicles have been attacked on the A1101 at Emneth, between Wisbech and Downham Market, in the last week.

Windows have been smashed and while no-one has yet been injured, police say it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

Witnesses report groups of youths aged 12 to 16 years of age throwing stones from the side of the road at passing cars, before running off or cycling towards Kirkhams Lane.
