Police helicopter called in as six people who jumped from lorry on A142 at Chatteris detained for questioning

Six people who jumped out of the back of a lorry near Chatteris have been detained by police.
Officers from the National Police Air Service (NPAS) based at Wattisham joined forces with Cambridgeshire Police to attend the incident.
Police are still on the A141 at Chatteris after a spokesman said they received reports saying 'six to seven people have just jumped out the back of an HGV.'
Police were called at about 4.06pm today (Monday 18) to the incident at Fenton Way, Chatteris.
A spokesman said: 'Six persons who jumped out of a HGV in Chatteris have been detained by officers near to the A141. NPAS_Wattisham assisted.'
