No complaints have been made to police of a scuffle involving Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy in Tombland in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Video footage emerged on Monday showing the Canaries' stopper in a heated dispute with another man in the clubland part of the city.
The club confirmed on Monday an internal investigation was underway into the incident, which came just hours after the 1-1 draw with Everton at Carrow Road in which the regular number one keeper was sidelined for the second time.
Replacement Declan Rudd has been putting in impressive performances in recent weeks.
After the footage emerged, Norfolk Constabulary called for anyone with information into the incident to come forward to allow them to investigate, but yesterday a force spokesman said: 'We have received no reports into an alleged assault in Tombland over the weekend.'
