POLICE have arrested two men in connection with a child found wandering on his own in Gorleston this morning.
POLICE have arrested two men in connection with a child found wandering on his own in Gorleston this morning.
The toddler was found by a member of the public wandering in the town's Nelson Road area at 9am and a search was carried out to track down his relatives.
Police tracked down a relative of the child at 1.30pm and the two men aged in their 20s were arrested. They are currently in police custody awaiting questioning.
The little boy, described by police as white and no more than two-years-old, is safe and well and is being cared for locally.
Det Supt Katie Elliott, of Norfolk police, said: 'We would like to take this opportunity to thank the member of the public who alerted us to the little boy's situation.'
