Lowestoft police were called to a spate of incidents across Waveney last night (Friday) and into the early hours of this morning (Saturday).

A man was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink and drugs, while others have been detained following domestic and disorderly behaviour incidents, according to the official twitter account for Lowestoft police.

In the early hours of Saturday, officers dealt with a dispute between neighbours in north Lowestoft, detained a woman after a domestic incident in south Lowestoft and arrested a man for driving whilst unfit through drink and drugs following an alleged incident on the A146 at Barnby.

Police also detained a woman in north Lowestoft following a domestic incident in the early hours of Saturday, while a man was detained by officers for an alleged assault outside a licensed premises in Oulton Broad.
