Police were called to reports of a suspicious item on a Norwich bus today.
A Norfolk police spokesman said officers were called to a number 24 First bus at Theatre Street, in Norwich, today shortly before 5pm.
He said officers attended but found the item involved - a rucksack and some clothes - was not suspicious and was left with the bus company.
As a result of the incident @FirstNorwich tweeted that number 24 and 23 bus services were experiencing delays of up to 35 minutes.
