There was a heavy police presence on a residential street in Bradwell on Saturday afternoon.
Officers were seen at a home on Mill Lane for around seven hours from 3.30pm to 10.30pm.
Neighbours reported seeing forensic officers at the scene.
Norfolk fire service was also called.
Police are yet to comment about the incident.
