The crash happened before 1.30pm, on Monday November 20, at the junction of Church Lane and Back Lane, in Stanfield, between Dereham and Fakenham.

The lorry ended up in the graveyard of St Margaret’s Church.

Keara-Elizabeth Baker,20, witnessed the incident. She said: “The gentleman in the lorry was approaching the junction, when a blue-grey Freelander approached from the opposite direction.

She said the lorry steered into the verge to avoid the oncoming car.

Miss Baker, who works for Anglian Water, added: “No one was injured but the rear end of the lorry was out in the road creating a blind corner and making it dangerous to go around.

“My colleague and I both witnessed the crash and to prevent oncoming traffic approaching too fast, we put traffic management signage out that we carry in our van.”

Police confirmed that no one was injured in the crash.
