Police today confirmed the body found near a railway line is that of missing teenager Natasha Coombs.
The 17-year-old, of Dovercourt, in Essex, - the daughter of a Norwich Union manager - vanished following a night out with friends in Ipswich on July 27.
A body was found near to Manningtree railway station, Essex, on Friday night and police today said it was the missing clerical assistant.
The circumstances of her death are now being investigated by the coroner, police said.
Following her disappearance, her father Gary Coombs, a mergers and acquisitions manager with Norwich Union in Norwich, her grandparents and ex-boyfriend all made emotional appeals for help in finding her.
