Police are appealing for help from the public in tracing two teenage girls who have been missing over the weekend.

Jordan Palmer, from Chatteris, and Sophie Lowe, from Wimblington, near Chatteris, were last seen in the town at 3.30pm on Friday . They were reported missing by their parents on Friday just after 7pm.

Sophie is white, thin and has straight shoulder-length blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a dark hooded jumper, white shirt, black trousers and a gold necklace with a pink ball on it.

Jordan is white, thin, with shoulder-length red hair. She was last seen wearing a black long sleeved top and knee-length denim skirt. Jordan is known to her friends as JJ.

It is thought the girls may be in Yarmouth or Hunstanton and officers from Cambridgeshire are working with the Norfolk force to find them.

Sergeant Chris O'Brian said: “I would appeal to anyone who has seen the girls since Friday afternoon to contact police immediately.

"This is out of character of both girls and we are concerned about them. I would also appeal to Sophie and Jordan directly to get in touch with either us or your parents.

"Both girls' families are extremely worried and just want them home."
