Suffolk Police have launched an appeal for the owner of a lost birthday card to come forward.

The appeal was put out today after the card was found in the south part of Bungay.

It appears the card has been lost for at least a week and a half.

A police spokesman said: 'A card in a blue envelope with a male name on was handed into Bungay police station after being found at the junction of Reeves Close and Pilgrim Way on February 26, however no-one has been in to claim it and police are now asking anyone who may have lost it to come forward.'

They added: 'The card appears to be from the boy or man's father.'

Police are appealing for anyone who thinks the card maybe theirs to contact PCSO Frank Marsh or PC Martin Skuse at Bungay by calling 101.
