Police appeal after young woman is assaulted in Bungay

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Bungay.

The incident took place on Sunday, February 26, between 8pm and 8.15pm, near Manor Road.

A woman in her 20s was walking alone when she heard footsteps behind her before she felt a sudden cut to her face. She was unable to give a description of the suspect or describe how the cut was sustained.

She was treated by paramedics, however did not require hospital treatment.
