Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Cobholm.
On Wednesday, January 13, at approximately 5.20pm, a woman in her 70s was walking along Olive Road, when she was approached by two men who attempted to take her handbag.
Following a struggle, the victim was pulled to the floor and called for help, at which point, the two offenders fled the scene via an alleyway on Olive Road towards Winifred Road.
The victim suffered cuts and bruises and was left shaken by the incident.
The two men are described as wearing hooded tops and dark clothing.
