For almost 30 years it has been the humble abode of one of the region's most famous bears.
It has been an entertainment hot spot for thousands over the years, and even had famous temporary residents in the form of Noel Edmonds and Mr Blobby.
However, in recent years Woody's Castle at Pleasurewood Hills had seen better days, succumbing to the elements and Father Time.
Now it is being brought back up to scratch, making it once again a castle fit for a bear - Woody Bear to be exact.
It will also welcome hundreds of families through its doors, as it hosts the theme park's regular shows, just as it had done in years gone by.
And while renovations are still a work in progress, the castle - to once again be known as the Castle Theatre - will open its doors this weekend for a new Pleasurewood Chills Halloween show.
Adam Noble, who took over as general manager of the park in January, said renovating it was one of his first decisions.
He said: 'To have such a big space in the park not being used was such a waste, so it was something I was keen to get done.
'It was definitely in a bad way - the roof needed repairing and there was a lot of cosmetic work to be done.'
The project - which is hoped to be fully complete by the time the park hosts its Christmas show - will also see upgrades to castle entrances, a bar area installed and the entire interior repainting.
Mr Noble added: 'As soon as I came in I knew something had to be done about the castle, so the renovations have been in the planning since February.
'It is not quite finished yet, but it is at a stage where it is fit for use, which is why we decided to open it up for the Halloween show.'
Once it is complete, Mr Noble is hoping not only will it host the park's regular shows, but also outside events and functions.
He added: 'Another reason I was so keen to bring the Castle up to scratch is it offers the park another indoor activity, in case the weather takes bad turns for visitors - the same reason we are turning the restaurant into an indoor play area.'
Renovations will also see toilets added to the castle for the first time, meaning fewer trips to the woods for Woody.
The Halloween shows will be on between Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 29.
