King’s Lynn was alive with noise as 10,000 people packed out the Tuesday Market Place to watch Pixie Lott headline Festival Too.

Many were in a celebratory mood following England reaching the semi-finals of the World Cup just hours before.

The crowd were in fine voice and England flags were held aloft as the crowd eagerly awaited the singer known for her hits Mama Do, Boys and Girls and All About Tonight.

The 27-year-old came out wearing an England shirt and got the crowd to sing a rendition of Three Lions, which was very well received.

Festival Too publicity officer Abbie Panks said: “It was a fantastic evening and I think the fact we had lots of people very happy, it made for a really great atmosphere.

“There was a lot of love for the bands and there was a good range of bands and it appealed to a much large audience.”

She added: “There is a lot of love out there for Festival Too and we need to be able to show people it is completely funded by donations and sponsors.

“It costs £100,000 each year to put on and that’s why we ask people to put a pound in the bucket.”

West Norfolk Academy Trust, The Visitors, Revival and Oddity Road also took to the stage.
