Two young men were arrested this morning in a dramatic scene which saw police vehicles swoop on Mundesley village centre.
Police received a call at 9.30am reporting that two men had been disturbed at an address in Helena Road, Walcott, and had made off in a vehicle towards Mundesley.
A pair were arrested 20 minutes later in the vicinity of High Street, Mundesley.
According to police, the vehicle was located and suspected stolen property seized.
The men, aged 18 and 20 and both from the North Walsham area, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and remained in police custody this afternoon.
Eye witness Russell Sparkes, who lives on Mundesley High Street, said about five police vehicles had centred on Station Road.
