A pink army of some 2,000 women took over the Norfolk estate of Britain's first prime minister to do battle with cancer.
Inspired by friends, loved ones and their own fights with the disease women of all ages and children gave their all to support cancer research.
Cancer Research UK's Race for Life was held at the Houghton Estate, near Fakenham, for the seventh time this evening.
Organiser Gemma Turpin, senior event manager for Cancer Research UK, said: 'We've got about 2,000 runners taking part and will hopefully raise £94,000 from this which is absolutely incredible for one evening.'
