The theme was candy colours and they chose some sweet forms of transport as Reepham High School students celebrated their leavers' prom.

Held in a marquee at Drayton Old Lodge there was a buzz in the air as they arrived in style using every type of vehicle from a black cab to a tractor bucket.

The marquee was pink and purple candy themed brought alive by the balloons courtesy of money raised through selling pancakes and washing cars.

Also adding to the theme, was an over-flowing candy cart supplied by Emm's Stems and to top it all off was a huge chocolate fountain.

Teacher Leeanne Reid, who helped to organise the event, said 'We could not have asked for a more stunning evening to celebrate the achievements of such a beautiful bunch of pupils. The dresses were glittery and unique, with many of the boys opting to colour co-ordinate with the girls in their groups. Their arrivals were captured forever by the paparazzi which included Year 12 photography students and many members of staff and spectators.

'All the attention to detail and fun song requests really made the evening something to remember. I for one will treasure the memories and hope all the wonderful young people who I have watched flourish over the last few years keep a little space for it in their hearts too.'
