Fourteen members of the King's Morris were up bright and early today to dance up the dawn on the Knights Hill roundabout in South Wootton, outside King's Lynn.

The group of morris men has been carrying out the traditional event since the early 1980s.

The group’s bagman David Jackson said: “There were 14 of us there from about 5am. I have been doing it since at least the early 1980s.

“The only hard part about it is making sure you get up early.”

The King’s Morris were back in Lynn town centre at lunchtime to carry out another old tradition - the May Day Garland Parade.
