Rolf Harris, Vincent Van Gogh and John Constable are just some of the artists being celebrated at Felbrigg's annual flower festival.

Now in its 20th year, members and friends of St Margaret's Church joined forces with artists from North Norfolk U3A to put on a festival filled with dazzling floral arrangements.

Using the theme of 'artistry', the displays have so far attracted more than 500 people to the three-day event.

Church warden Hilary Kirkland has been helping to organise the festival for the last five years.

'The flower arrangements have been made to depict famous paintings which we asked an art group to reproduce,' she said.

'Last year's theme of 'An Incredibly Journey' was also very popular and this year we thought it would be lovely to do depictions and interpretations of famous paintings.'

More than 10 people created the flower arrangements for the big event. It is the main fundraiser for the 70,000 church roof fund appeal.

Mrs Kirkland added: 'We are a small group but have to raise a large amount of money to keep going.

'We try to do unusual themes and something a bit different from the normal run of the mill things.'

Visitors to the exhibition, which started yesterday (Saturday), have also been enjoying eating their picnics at the pews.

This year's festival runs until tomorrow (Monday), 10am - 4pm.
