Photo gallery: Classic buses set to take passengers on a trip to memory lane in Norwich

Retro buses are set to transform into time machines taking members of the public as far back as 70 years.

Three voluntary groups have united to organise the Norwich Classic Bus Running Day which will see buses from the 1940s-1980s return to the streets of Norwich for the day.
The East Anglia Transport Museum in Lowestoft, the Eastern Transport Collection in Attleborough and the Ipswich Transport Museum will provide former Eastern Counties Omnibus Company vehicles.
Four free services will be operating giving the chance to have a nostalgic ride around the city and surrounding countryside.
As well as the three organisations, several other former Eastern Counties buses travelling from as far Lincoln and Birmingham will also be joining in the fun.

It will be 80 years since Norwich Trams finished and Norwich City Council and Eastern Counties set up the 'Norwich Joint Services' to replace the tram routes.
On March 22 buses will depart from Norwich Rail Station, the Thorpe Road stop, every 15 minutes from 11.10am until 4.40pm.
