Children, tutors and friends of the Sistema in Norwich programme will be entertaining shoppers at Sainsbury's in Queens Road, Norwich today and tomorrow.

Most of the 120 children involved in the programme are set to take part on the two days, between 10am and 4pm.

Sistema in Norwich, which aims to transform the lives of young people through music, works in the Larkman and Catton Grove areas of the city, offering children the chance to learn a musical instrument and play in an orchestra.

Marcus Patteson, programme director, said: 'The children are singing and playing instruments.

'They are doing it in shifts as it's tiring playing for several hours.
