Police are investigating after a car was damaged before being set alight in Thetford.

The incident happened on Monday, April 4 between 10pm and 10.20pm when suspects pushed a silver Peugeot 406 onto its roof on the grassed area between Durham Way and Edinburgh Way. This caused the windscreen to smash and damaged the sunroof.

A few hours later, at about 12.25am on Tuesday, April 5, suspects set fire to the car causing damage to the interior.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area around the times stated.
