The loss of a pet can be a difficult time but now pet owners in Norfolk are being offered a new service designed to help them grieve for their pets when they pass away.
Pets at Peace is a new service that has been launched by Celebrate Norfolk, a trading enterprise of Norfolk County Council. Available to all pet owners whether they are dealing with the loss of animal large or small, the service aims to help pet owners to mark the passing of their pet with a tribute and ceremony of their choice and design.
Anita Hennington, business developer manager for Norfolk registry service explained why the service had been launched; 'People are very fond of their animals and pets form such a central part of our lives and dealing with that bereavement is actually very difficult.'
Prices for the service start at £99, with £5 from every booking donated to Redwings Horse Sanctuary and PACT. For more information visit: yourpetatpeace.com
