People in Wymondham frustrated about the relocation a £75,000 play area, at a cost of a further £60,000, have set up an online campaign to challenge the council decision.
On Tuesday, Wymondham Town Council agreed to move equipment on King's Head Meadow to elsewhere in the town, after those living near the play area said anti-social behaviour and noise had become a nightmare.
It has provoked anger from parents and users of the park, who are hoping to see the council back track. The play area was built in September 2014.
So far, more than 260 people have signed the petition.
