Winterton on Sea Lifeboat Restoration Group is running a pet portrait raffle to be drawn on May 28.

It is the group’s current big fundraising effort toward the continuing restoration of the former lifeboat the Edward Birkbeck and to build a heritage centre.

Group chairman Bev Kay said: “Peter Chapman is a renowned Winterton artist and he produces fantastic dog portraits. He hass offered to do a framed 16ins x 20ins portrait of the winner’s pet and there is an alternative prize available of a hand-drawn scene of the beautiful village of Winterton should the winner not have a pet.”

Raffle tickets are £2, and are available from Winterton Post Office and Winterton Fish Bar, at any of the restoration group’s forthcoming fundraising events or you can contact Bev on 01493 394954, email her at woslifeboat@gmail.com or go to the group’s website or Facebook page.
