A man had to be freed from his car after a single vehicle collision near Halesworth.
Police were called by the East of England Ambulance Service at around 1.25pm to reports of the crash in Sparrowhawk Road, Upper Holton where a Mazda car had come off the road and hit a tree.
A man in his 60s was freed from the vehicle and taken to the James Paget University Hospital, Gorleston with an injury to his knee.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said three fire crews from Southwold, Halesworth and Lowestoft South were sent to the scene.
'A vehicle has hit a tree and a person is trapped,' he said.
Suffolk police said officers were also sent to Upper Holton to assist with the incident.
An ambulance service spokesman said: 'An ambulance crew, a rapid response vehicle, and an ambulance officer attended the scene, where they treated a man, believed to be in his 60s, for a knee injury.
'The patient was taken to the James Paget Hospital for further care.'
