Person trapped in car after A47 collision released by three fire crews

One person has been cut from their vehicle after a collision on the A47 near North Burlingham this evening.

Three fire crews in total responded to the scene to assist with recovering the occupant, who had become trapped, and to provide scene safety.

A spokesman for Norfolk Fire and Rescue said: 'Appliances from Carrow, Sprowston and Earlham attended a road traffic collision on the A47 at North Burlingham.

'One person was trapped in the vehicle and the crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to release. Scene safety and vehicle stability was carried out.'

The East of England Ambulance Service were also in attendance at the scene.
