Person suffers facial injuries in Bodney crash

A crash in Bodney this morning left one person with facial injuries and another trapped in their vehicle.

Emergency services were called to the B1108 where a car and van crashed shortly before 8.30am.

An ambulance service spokesman said that a man in his 40s was trapped in his vehicle and had to be cut out by firefighters.

He suffered concussion and superficial external injuries.

Meanwhile a second man received facial injuries from the crash.

They were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.

Three fire engines from Dereham, Watton and Swaffham were called to the scene, as well as two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle.
