Person freed from car after collision in Carrow Road, Norwich

One person had to freed from a car after a two-vehicle collision in Carrow Road in Norwich.

Fire crews from Carrow and Sprowston stations were called in to free the casualty after the incident was reported at 9.54pm on Tuesday.

A police spokesman said the person's injuries were not serious.

The road was partially blocked while the rescue was taking place, but has since reopened.
