A play which celebrates the role of women during the Second World War will be performed by students from West Suffolk College.
Lilies on the Land tells the tales and personal journeys of the women who joined the Women's Land Army and is based on hundreds of letters and interviews with original Land Girls.
Performing arts student Hannah King, 19, said: 'When I've learned about the Second World War, it's always been Nazi Germany and fighting. I've never learned the other side of it. It's a completely different world and experience.'
The play will be performed at the Conservatoire EAST Theatre at the college in Bury St Edmunds.
It will be performed on Tuesday, March 7, Thursday, March 9, and Saturday, March 11, all at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £7 for adults and £5 for students and can be bought by calling 01284 769505 or by visiting https://www.theatreroyal.org/shows/lilies-on-the-land/
