Houses were evacuated after a gas leak in Gorleston.
A number of properties in Salk Road, Lister Close and Curie Drive were evacuated after emergency vehicles were called at about 4.10pm today.
Other residents in the area were advised by police to keep their doors and windows closed until advised otherwise.
But the incident was resolved at around 4.45pm and people were allowed to return to their houses.
