A pensioner has been rushed to hospital suffering from neck and back pains after being hurt in a two vehicle collision on a busy Norfolk road.
The woman, believed to be in her 70s, was trapped following a road traffic collision on the A149 at Cats Common, near Smallburgh.
Emergency services, including an ambulance crew and ambulance officer, raced to the scene after the alarm was raised this afternoon (Tuesday) around 3.30pm.
And the casualty was freed by firefighters from Stalham and Wroxham using hydraulic rescue equipment before being taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
