WEETING: An 83-year-old man who died in a two-car collision on the A1065 Mundford Road was yesterday named as Reginald Soden. The crash happened at about 6.45pm on Friday at the junction of Peppers High Hill when a green Ford Mondeo was in collision with a blue Mercedes C220 car. Mr Soden, of Peppers Close, Weeting, who was driving the Mercedes, died at the scene. The 44-year-old driver of the Ford was unharmed.
Witnesses are asked to call PC Mark Howes or Sgt Peter Howlett at the western area road policing unit at Swaffham on 0845 456 4567.
