A man was seriously injured following a road collision on the B1145 in Bawsey.
The accident, on January 8, happened at around 4.10pm when a blue Vauxhall Mocha, travelling along the west bound carriageway in the direction of King's Lynn, and a pedestrian, walking in the opposite direction, were in collision near to The Sandboy pub.
The pedestrian received serious head injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge for treatment, where he remains in a serious, but stable condition.
The road was blocked whilst emergency services attended and re-opened shortly before 10pm.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information concerning the driving manner of the vehicle or actions of the pedestrian prior to the collision.
