A car hit a pedestrian on the A11 near Attleborough last night.
The man in his 40s suffered a serious leg injury and was taken to hospital after the he was struck by the Ford Fiesta at around 10.20pm yesterday.
It happened near to the London Road junction, with the road closed for around an hour while emergency services dealt with the incident.
An ambulance service spokesman said that an ambulance officer and an ambulance attended, adding: 'The ambulance team treated a male patient who was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with a fractured leg.'
