Pedestrian hit by car while crossing road in front of Diss Tesco store

A pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being hit by a car while crossing the road in front of a Norfolk supermarket.

The woman in her late 20s was struck by a silver or grey car while crossing the road in front of the Tesco store in Victoria Road, Diss at 2.45pm on August 22, but the female driver continued into the car park and failed to stop or identify herself afterwards.

Anyone with information in relation to the incident should phone PC Andy Baker at Diss SNT on 101.
