Paramedics and police were called to Farmers Avenue in Norwich this afternoon after a chase ended badly.

Two police cars, a paramedic cyclist and a first responder were called to the scene at 3.15pm, after two people were seen lying on the pavement.

An officer at the scene said: “We believe they were chasing each other and one fell, and the other had an anxiety attack.”

One woman, who had injured her legs, was helped up and moved into the Vue cinema by 3.20pm, with help from friends and a paramedic.

The officer added: “At this stage we don’t believe any assault has been committed.”
