A post-mortem on the body of a woman found in woodland in West Norfolk is being carried out this afternoon.

Police now believe they know the identity of the woman, whose full-clothed body was found on the edge of woodland at Watlington, between King's Lynn and Downham market, on Tuesday afternoon.

Her death is being treated as unexplained and detectives hope this afternoon's post mortem, which will be carried out at Queen Elizabeth Hospital by Home Office pathologist Ben Swift, will she more light on the circumstances.

Police may release more information on the progress of the enquiry later this afternoon.
