Shotputter Danny Nobbs took time out from his Paralympic training schedule to visit his old school, Attleborough Junior.

Children in class 4L had written to him as part of their Olympic values literacy unit.

Danny spoke to the whole school in assembly, telling them how after a motorbike accident he was left paralysed from the waist down and had to learn to adjust to life in wheelchair.

He was always a keen sportsman and wanted sport to still be a part of his life so he took part in a wheelchair race to raise funds for a friend's disabled daughter.

Remembering how good he had been at shot putt when at Attleborough High School he took it up again and is now amongst the best in the world and will be at the Paralympic Games this year.
