The latest intricately-decorated 'Moongazer' hare to be part of a Norfolk-wide GoGoHares! trail has been unveiled.
The sculpture, designed by Anne Schwegmann-Fielding, is one of two sponsored by North Norfolk District Council for this summer’s event, in support of the charity Break.
The hare, called Lepus uses white, silver and gold crockery, mirror circles and ‘bus shelter’ glass. The sculpture will be placed in North Walsham in June.
It was first shown to the public at the North Norfolk Business Awards on February 15 at Gresham’s school.
Michael Green, from Break, said: “This design represents the sea and also the countryside. It was specifically designed by the team at North Norfolk District Council, together with the artist.”
There will be 18 Moongazer hares across regional Norfolk, to complement 50 ‘ears up’ hares around Norwich.
