Pair in custody after six cars are attacked in Hethersett

Two men are due to be questioned by police today after a number of cars were vandalised overnight in Hethersett.

Police were called to Norwich Road, near the Queens Head pub, following reports of cars being damaged by two men at about 2.30am this morning.

A police spokesman said some windscreens had been smashed and about six vehicles were damaged.

The spokesman said this morning two men were in custody at Wymondham and were due to be questioned today.
