Pair arrested after police drugs raid in Sheringham

Two men in their 20s have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs following a police raid in Sheringham today.

Drugs believed to be cannabis were seized after officers from Sheringham Safer Neighbourhood Team, along with response and dog handler colleagues, carried out the warrant at a property in Grice Close this morning under the Misuse of Drugs Act. The men have been bailed pending further police enquiries.

Sgt Andy Smith said: 'We will act on information we receive about drugs and drug dealing and if anyone suspects a property is being used for this purpose, I would encourage them to contact us in confidence or pass information anonymously via the Crimestoppers charity.'

To report suspected drug dealing or crime in your neighbourhood call police on 0845 456 4567 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
