There was disruption on train services across Norfolk after issues with overhead wires and a barrier.

Train services running to and from Norwich and Ipswich were cancelled, delayed and revised on Thursday morning after problems with overhead wires.

It means trains were unable to run between Ipswich, Stowmarket and Diss, disrupting services from Norwich to London Liverpool Street.

Network Rail engineers are went to the scene, with ongoing disruption expected until 11am.

And a fault with barriers at a level crossing at Attleborough also saw all lines blocked at the station.

Services from Norwich to Cambridge were cancelled, but the problem is now fixed and trains are running as usual.
