Pupils at Wensum Junior School have been busy recently.

They collected 67 bags packed full of clothes of assorted sizes in response to the Turner Road school's Cash4schools collection.

This amounted to about 80 for the school's playground development fund.

Meanwhile, the school's year three students welcomed some exotic visitors to their classroom.

Staff from Amazonia in Great Yarmouth brought in some rainforest animals to meet the children.

The youngsters had an enjoyable afternoon examining them and learning about their habitat and lifestyles.
