Sixty primary school children were given a tour of one of Lowestoft's most recognisable landmarks, after two organisations from their community stepped in to make the trip happen.
Year three pupils of Northgate Primary School in Great Yarmouth have been studying the fishing industry in history and had received a visit from volunteers of Lowestoft Maritime Museum.
On Friday, they returned the favour, visiting the museum for a thorough look around, thanks to sponsorship from two organisations.
The trip was sponsored by Kimco Properties of Great Yarmouth and local Freemasons, Lodge of Friendship 100, who between them made the trip happen.
Class teacher Holly Kettle-Male said: 'Being able to visit the museum is useful, as it consolidates what they've been learning in class.'
Lodge master-elect John Beales and Kimco Properties director Tony Jacobs joined them on the trip.
