Mozart Orchestra serenade the GoGo Hares ahead of charity concert at St Andrew’s Hall

Before performing a charity concert at St Andrew's Hall, members of the Mozart Orchestra serenaded the city's popular GoGoHares sculptures before they left the city's streets.

Visited by clarinets, violins and a French horn player, artist and violinist Rob Barnes was one of the musicians who serenaded the hares before they left their place on the GoGoHares trail this summer.

Mr Barnes created the city sculpture, Barley Hare, for sponsor Sinclair International and the county sculpture, Holiday Hare, sponsored by Richardsons Holiday Park.

Danielle Gravestock, fundraising officer, said: 'We are very excited about this concert, and to involve one of the GoGo artists who is also a musician is really very special.'

The Mozart Orchestra performs 'Nordic Dreams' - a season finale concert with guest soloist Ruth Hahn - on October 6 in aid of Break.

The Nordic-inspired programme will showcase Sibelius' Violin Concerto and Symphony No.2, and Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite No. 1.
